PLUNDER TYPEFACE

A combination of three typefaces all chosen for their political nature where combined to create "plunder." Missionary (Miles Newlyn, 1991) visualizes a very empirical world that addresses the British Empire and its strategic spread of Christianity around the world. Cholla Sans Regular (Sybille Hagmann, 1999) unifies the nine departments at Arts Center through the irregular yet fluid joints. Akzidenz Grotesk Condensed (Günter Gerhard Lange, 1898) was teh final face chosen for its blatant neutrality, its goal to be as far away as possible from any type of formal eccentricity.
